I’d really love to see this in a theatre someday.
But anyhow, how about horror in the 70s? There was a stretch from like 73-82 where we got Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, Jaws (if you count it), Carrie, Halloween, Alien, The Shining, The Evil Dead and The Thing to name a few. Seeing the revolutions in body horror, special effects and animatronics develop through that era is pretty interesting and Jaws certainly had a large part to play.
