I absolutely adore Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling's work, so before diving into their new miniseries A Murder At The End Of The World I figured I'd check out their beginning.

Furie 2019
I'm not sure if it was the intention but this felt like a nice throwback to action thrillers of yesteryear with the ultra simple story, quite dreadful-but-that's-ok acting from virtually everyone who isn't the lead, overbearing score, wonderfully hammy villains and fantastic fighting.
There's basically no depth to anything that happens nor anyone who does the happening, but Veronica Ngo doesn't half kick some ass and look great doing so. Decent stuff.
