Matt’s review published on Letterboxd:
A devastatingly angry film which rallies against injustices that far too often involve those unable to defend themselves through no fault of their own, masked by a layer of beauty and occasionally darkly comic storytelling. With a soundtrack of independent anthems, an array of colour and a brilliant supporting cast ranging from characters who are full of love to those with fake sympathy, Promising Young Woman is an overtly 'easy' watch that hides an enormous amount of pain...just like the protagonist. Clever isn't it?
