David Lowery needs to come direct the traffic near me, holy shit.
A staggeringly beautiful, impeccably acted demonstration of the power of both ancient storytelling and modern movie making uniting in the most mystical, inspiring way. It's what is referred to in the trade as a 'proper fucking film'.
Possibly a career best from Dev Patel as he seemingly did everything, including hanging out with a badly animated magic fox and getting a hand shandy from Lara Croft. Not to belittle the other cast at all though, everyone was at the top of their game and it showed.
The Green Knight's arrival scene is going to go down as a classic, it was a masterclass of tension and I utterly loved it.
