    Dragon Ball Super: Broly

Broly features the best aspects of Dragon Ball: comedy, tropes, just enough story to care about, and of course a spectacular fight.

    Indeed it is.

  • Mothra

Though I’m partial to 1964’s Mothra vs. Godzilla (aka, Godzilla vs. The Thing), Mothra offers incredibly memorable characters that make it such a fun watch. Nelson (Jerry Ito) is utterly vile as our main antagonist, while my favorite character is Zenichiro Fukuda, played by Frankie Sakai, who brings the comedic relief. It’s also worth mentioning that Hiroshi Koizumi plays Shinichi Chujo, a role he would later reprise in Godzilla: Tokyo SOS some 40 years later.

    Go watch it.

    Invasion of Astro-Monster

As a kid, this film was kinda meh. As an adult, it’s a bonafide favorite Godzilla film, one that features a stellar cast (Nick Adams is baller, yo) and an alien race bent on taking over earth using monsters. What’s not to love?
