What would today be a screen recording, or an animated GIF, or a TikTok was in 1985 an edited video of camcorder footage of a classic Macintosh computer screen. The animations themselves are mostly charming experiments and represent a frenzy of creativity.
That's what it was like to get a computer for the first time in the 80s: the possibilities seemed limitless and everything was fun and new ground to discover.
