I don’t think it tops Hereditary for me personally, instead only in the craft. Ari Aster’s craftsmanship is phenomenal.
The film is quite disturbing and the 2.5 hour runtime is somewhat draining. There might not be a better looking film in 2019 though because this is stunning.
Florence Pugh gives a totally engrossing performance and the best I’ve seen this entire year.
