    Was a 4, now a 5.

Honestly, this shit slaps. Go see it in a theater before it’s too late. Truly delves into your subconscious and triggers those late-night, over-sensory dreams you awoke from when you were a kid…

    calling out to your parents.
    wet sheets.
    black corners.
    bumps in the dark.
    utterly abysmal.
but crank it up to 100.

While being incredibly perceptively stunning and provocative, it’s really not about what you’re watching, it’s about the true emotions it really elicits. Fuck does it ever stick with you.

This is…

A movie that really takes its time but then basks in the more shocking, violent and gruesome moments. When shit hits the fan, the shit is flying all over the place. It’s supremely intense and it’s dark as fuck. No “good vibes”, lightheartedness or happy endings here, people.

If you’re a fan of Antiviral or Infinity Pool or anything from either Cronenbergs, this is no different. Its subtle, futuristic sci-fi setting harmonizes with its eccentric, psychedelic sensibilities so well and makes for a…

I’ve been terrified and overwhelmed trying to muster up the courage to write something substantial about my favorite movie of all time but I’m also tired of saying nothing about it. I’m not a film reviewer, there’s nothing I can say that every person hasn’t already said, even more eloquently than I ever could.

This was one of the first horror films that I ever watched. I think I was 9 or 10 at the public library and was so…
