This film creates such a unique feeling. It's like a sort of other-worldly, warm atmosphere that feels alien yet also familiar too. I don't know if that was an intentional effort to create the same disconcerting familiarity you'd feel if you were to be confronted by the reality of another 'you' living in the world, but it definitely made for a tonal foundation that felt totally synchronised with the story built up from it.
