• You People

    You People

Actually dug the first third or so but quickly became repetitive and dull. Such a missed opportunity.

  • Infinity Pool

    Infinity Pool

Goes on for too long but is carried by great performances from Goth and Skarsgard. Theme gets kinda muddled but there’s always something to draw you back into the sick narrative. Recommend if you like weirdo shit.

  • Missing

Fun little thriller with good set pieces and performances.

  • The Hudsucker Proxy

    The Hudsucker Proxy

So underrated. Fucking hilarious with great writing, acting, and directing. Coens should do more full on comedies because they’re great at it.

  • The Fly

    The Fly

No one can fuse body horror and human drama like Cronenberg. Great movie.

  • Babylon

Still as good as the first time around, though it flowed slightly worse this time around. Shame something on this magnitude is flopping.

  • Sick

Pretty slick and well directed. Wish I got more out of it.

  • M3GAN

Malignant solos but a lot of fun. Really funny and never really felt too try hard. Emotional stuff could’ve been handled slightly better (the score near the end annoyed the fuck out of me) and it def should’ve been R, still recommend and think it’s worth a watch.

  • Jackass Forever

    Jackass Forever

Danger Ehren the unspoken goat of this movie.

  • La La Land

    La La Land

This movie had an insane chokehold on me when it first came out and I don’t remember the last time I watched it. This still holds up very well, Stone and Gosling are fantastic, Hurwitz’s score is great as per usual, and Chazelle incorporates such a unique style to what would usually be a dry musical. Glad I rewatched this.

  • Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Very cute and fun! I’m mad tired so I’d probably like it more if I rewatch less sleepy. Great animation tho and an actually fun and effective villain. More like this please!

  • All Quiet on the Western Front

All Quiet on the Western Front

A powerful, deeply disturbing watch. I don’t think I’ve seen a war movie this hellish in a while. Actually has the balls to fully commit to a bleak story unlike most war movies that decide to brush it over for the sake of propaganda. There is no glory to war, there is only suffering, a truth this movie is all about.
