Colton McAnally’s review published on Letterboxd:
I knew nothing going into this film and I think it made it that much better. The initial shock of discovering the plot, characters, and their motives proved to be intriguing. I thought the movie had a great look to it that fit perfectly. I loved the blend of horror and comedy that it had, and the movie was in many ways pretty unpredictable. There are a directions and scenes that were the opposite of what I expected and that was refreshing as a fan of what can sometimes be repetitive horror. Samara Weaving was awesome in my opinion, as was most of the other cast. The movie had a great class and feel to it that was meta yet inventive. Overall, I think that it was a great movie and a pleasant surprise watch.
