I believe cinema has an uncanny power to conjure empathy. It is through this empathy we'll better understand each other. And if we can do that, we can build a better resistance towards the powers that be that want to divide, manipulated and colonize us. Therefore, leftism, and leftist cinema, is an essential piece of the portrait of resistance, one that cannot be overlooked as a tool of radicalization, and in some cases even genuine praxis. If we can change someone's mind, then we can change the world.
