Some certain choices with dialogue and character writing that I had a hard time not rolling my eyes at.
These mistakes were redeemed with a Safdie-Brothers-like pacing and camera work that kept me pretty tense throughout.

White Noise 2022
Adam Driver does an amazing job as a Baumbach patriarch, showing off some physical comedy chops I didn’t know he had in him!
Staying true to the Don Dellilo’s original dialogue made the first act extremely rough, and had me almost feeling bad for Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig. Some ambitious camera work and fantastic set direction will help you get through the first act until things pick up with the airborne toxic event, which suddenly has dialogue landing cleaner and some really fun scenes.
Worth mentioning this had one of the best credit sequences I’ve ever seen.
