“i’m the cunt you married. the only time you liked yourself was when you were trying to be someone this cunt might like. i’m not a quitter, i'm that cunt. i killed for you; who else can say that? you think you'd be happy with a nice midwestern girl? no way, baby! i'm it.”

this is the movie. this is it. whenever people are talking about any film, it’s about this one. david fincher’s talent is indescribable, he is so inventive and subtle but intelligent. meanwhile, the brilliant gillian flynn came through with one of the most ingenius screenplay’s ever written? (the ‘cool girl’ monologue!!!!) no printer just fax. and of course, rosamund pike who somehow didn’t win an oscar, not even a golden globe, for this role!? sounds fake but ok

this film is so manitplutive. it’s truly impossible to predict what amy’s next plan of action is, she is so meticulous in executing her crimes that you just had to immerse yourself completely in watching how far she would go to push nick into the man she desired. there’s just so much deception and genuine maliciousness within nick and amy that makes this film so, so fantastic, they’re made for each other

tbh i’m glad i watched this alone because it’s worrisome the amount of times i said “yes bitch” or “iconic” when amy did something fucked up and pyschopathic but she really is that cunt!

“nick dunne took my pride and my dignity and my hope and my money. he took and took from me until i no longer existed. that's murder.
