I'm TIRED of relating to dark academia characters like it's just being gay and in love with your best friend... so sick and twisted
i also need more gay roles for daniel radcliffe

michael shannon is a god of acting. this is (from what I've seen) his best role. the way this movie portraits mental illness and how hard it is to open up and talk about it with your loved ones is absolutely incredible. and also the visuals? omg this is such an amazing film.

i don't know why but the first time i tried watching this movie (a couple years ago) i couldn't get past like 15 minutes of it, it just wasn't for me. but after revisiting it, i absolutely loved every minute of it and the visuals are so gorgeous, i'm amazed by them.
