Finally got around to binge-watching this with my boyfriend before we see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and it was pretty good overall. I liked all the references/homages to TV shows across the decades, especially the Malcolm in the Middle themed episode, and I really appreciated how unique the concept of the show itself is. Unfortunately though, I wasn't really a fan of the ending, or of the last episode as a whole... I feel like their intent was…

First time I've rewatched this since seeing it years ago, and idk how but I completely forgot that Mads Mikkelsen is one of the main antagonists??? I'm always happy to see Mads, and I liked both Benedict Cumberbatch's and Rachel McAdams' performances, even in spite of their occasionally corny dialogue. Not a bad movie, although definitely not the best or most memorable Marvel movie there is... just wanted to watch this again before seeing the new sequel.

    The Clovehitch Killer

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Threw this on as a random late night watch and ended up really liking it!! It was very suspenseful, much more than I expected it to be, and I think Dylan McDermott (Don) did a great job in this role. I really wish Don got his comeuppance in the end by getting exposed as the (titular) Clovehitch Killer, but I still enjoyed the ending, and I understand his son Tyler's reasoning for not wanting the world to know his father was a serial killer. That being said, Don was straight up willing to kill his own son & frame his brother for his murders... fuckin ruthless

Threw this on as a random late night watch with my boyfriend and it was not bad! The dialogue was cheesy and most of the characters were really underdeveloped, but I enjoy watching schlocky movies like this, so I was pretty entertained the whole time. The reveal of the killer felt a little underwhelming to me personally, not that it didn't make sense plot-wise, but I wish their motivations were more clear (especially regarding Rodrigo's death). That being said, I think Sydney Park (Makani) carried this movie, so I'm happy there was at least 1 character I cared about.
