It received the longest standing ovation in NYFF history, so that should give you an idea on how perfect this film is. I also got to see Luca Guadagnino, Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, and André Aciman in the flesh and got to ask Luca a question, which was absolutely surreal. I'm so lucky that this was the first movie I've seen at the first film festival I've ever attended; I'm truly never gonna forget the experience of it all and how this film made me feel. CMBYN is one of the most beautiful love stories to exist and it reminded me of why we all need cinema in our lives.
