Yet another powerful, deeply emotional, and visually stunning piece of work from Christopher Nolan. I'm so glad I ended up thoroughly enjoying this movie despite my initial doubts about it. There's very minimal dialogue, and you don't learn much about the characters, but I think this works in favor of the movie because it spends less time on backstories and more time on showing us what these men went through together. Despite not knowing much about the characters, I still cared about each one of them and that says a lot. All the actors were terrific, and to no one's surprise, Hans Zimmer delivers a hauntingly beautiful score that gave life to the movie. I hope I can catch another screening of this soon!
