After a brilliant set up the movie, quality does plummet but it is still a good movie made for the masses. We have seen the same subject matter handled in a better setting and by directors in the past but still, this movie knowingly or unknowingly touches on the subject of existentialist and what it means to be alive. It's sad and understandable that that part could not be investigated fully because of this being a genre Hollywood movie.

When a brilliant director is given a big-budget sci-fi to direct it oozes class. The idea isn't diluted for the audience and what we get is an uncompromising visual extravaganza packing a soulful existentialist story at its core. Blade Runner 2049 hits the bullseye in one attempt which Blade Runner (1982) can't do in 5 attempts.

I am crying so hard that I can't even pen my thoughts for now. This is one of the greatest, perhaps the greatest, cinema I have ever seen. This is depressingly beautiful. Thank God for the art and the artist.
