It's been a while since I've seen a film that comes into and relates to my life at the right time. And while I knew that this would be my kind of movie pretty early on, I wasn't emotionally prepared for what I ended up getting. It's the most human 2021 film I've seen by a mile and nearly perfectly made. Layered screenplay, incredible pacing, great cinematography, beautiful acting, I couldn't get enough of it and genuinely felt sad when the end credits rolled. Maybe I'll feel different on a second watch without the festival crowd around me but this was such a special experience and I know this review is beyond cheesy but I don't care, this movie is a masterpiece.
