It was time for another HorrorPack movie, but I still haven't gotten one yet. Knowing the mail, I will probably get it today now that I have already watched a movie in its place. I went with this movie instead, which was fine with me. Out of the first three movies, this one is my least favorite but I still love it. I didn't like the final girl in this one much. She does fight back against Jason, but the constant screaming gets on my nerves after a while. I do like the supporting characters though, even Shelly to some degree. I enjoy this one because I felt that the effects were amped up a bit. There were some pretty good kills in this one I thought.
My favorite related moment about this movie is seeing it in the theater in 3-D. If you ever get the chance to see it that way, do so. A local theater, many years ago, had a special screening of this movie in 3-D for two nights. A friend invited me to go and I jumped at the chance. I'm so glad that I did as it made the movie that much more fun for me. There are scenes in the movie where it is easy to see how the 3-D will work, but I noticed little things as well, like the sheets coming off the screen ever so slightly as the wind blows them. It was just amazing to me to get to watch the movie that way after seeing it in 2-D for so long. Even with my problems with the movie, I still enjoy this one a lot.
