Women Talking 2022
An undoubtedly powerful, timely film that is sure to resonate with many. Easily one of the best screenplays from last year with probably the best cast ensemble. Hard to even pick a standout performance, everyone is so damn great here. Definitely got choked up a few times. Will certainly be thinking about this for a bit.

Infinity Pool 2023
Huge improvement from Possessor. I feel Brandon struck a great tonal balance and truly found his voice as a filmmaker here. Performances are fantastic across the board but Mia Goth continues to cement herself as one of the great, versatile actors of our generation. Extraordinary, batshit performance I just ate up. Loved how weird and goofy this was. It’s a ton of fun while really nailing that existential horror I adore. I can see this really dividing audiences but it worked for me. My kinda movie. January 2023 sure is kicking some serious ass, goddamn. Movies are so cool.
