Damn, I've been sleeping on this movie. I remembered watching all of these in elementary school and dressing up as Ghost Face for Halloween but I'd say this is the first time I watched this film and appreciated it for it's meta commentary on the slasher genre. Truly one of the greatest slashers made. The script is genuinely incredible and is filled with so many great characters and thematic payoffs. The humor meshes with the horror very well, this film is hilarious but also has some impressive gore. So much fun and has a nearly perfect 3 act structure, 3rd act being a noteable highpoint not only for this film but the genre as a whole.
