Perfect dream logic movie that has no right to exist or be this good. Pretty much everything that tried to imitate this vibe in the 2000s was too saccharine and twee but here you get real scumbag John Cusack, the master Cameron Diaz, an insanely sexy and cool Catherine Keener, and of course, Johnny himself in a role he by all accounts should never have taken on but works so beautifully in. Bursting with ideas and incredibly funny.
