  This movie was not nearly as bad as twitter made it out to be. Mediocre script carried by a fascinating concept and competent directing/filmmaking, more than enough to keep me invested and entertained. Definitely didn’t expect it to be that dark though.

  I… wow. Just wow. That was perfect. So many years of anticipation have culminated in one of the most powerful, beautiful, and profound works of art ever put to film.

  Matt Reeves has simultaneously perfected the noir detective drama and crime thriller genres while delivering a flawless adaptation of both Batman and the entirety of Gotham in a single film. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m literally overwhelmed with emotions right now.

  I don’t know what else to say. I’m going to need some time to process everything I just experienced before writing a full review.
