Manny Humphrey’s review published on Letterboxd:
A movie about a little German boy who really wants to be a nazi, who has Adolf Hitler as an imaginary friend, should not work. But it does!
Naturally there is more to it than just that. Underneath the satire, there is a very good emotional story told that pays off more than once. For every scene where I was laughing, there was one where I was genuinely being moved by what was happening.
Probably won't be for everyone but I really dug it.
Be good people and beat up your local nazi.
