THERE IS NO ROLE OF THE TEMPEST!!
Definitely the best thing Marvel has made since Endgame. Goes to show that when you get a director that is passionate about the film, and unwilling to rush its creation to appeal to Marvel’s current Capitalist cog, you actually get a good fucking movie. Also proves that Marvel can have a good villain when they don’t prioritise humanising them to the point where it becomes impossible to root for anyone.
But above anything, it holds the qualities of an auteur…

Started crying within the first 10 seconds and didn't stop until an hour after. I blame whoever put in the slow motion melancholy edit of the whole cast hugging in the last 15 minutes though. I then thought it would be a good idea to rewatch 'Simply the best' once I finished. It wasn't.
Also, fat shoutout to Dan Levy who not only created a TV show which stood for love and inclusivity, but also created complex and independent female…
