just watched all two and a half hours of this movie recorded on a handheld cam, chopped off at the edges, interrupted by commercials, entirely dubbed in russian w/o subtitles, with shitty static audio you could hardly make out anyways and you know something? STILL a five star experience. suspiria is literally the most powerful film iβve ever witnessed and all of these obstacles not being able to get in its way prove the sheer virtuosity of guadagninoβs direction. even without sound, without language, the film speaks volumes. all of the performances and the choreography were truly allowed to shine here and wow ... damien jalet, tilda swinton, mia goth, dakota (Dakota π) ... yβall really did this. you created magic.

someday soon (probably once my blu-ray comes in) iβll write a personal piece on this. it wouldnβt be an exaggeration to say this movie saved me (yes i know the emo in me is LEAPING out), and iβd like to give it a proper thank you. for now though, i hope my love is powerful enough a substitute.
