i have never hated a character as much as Amy Dunne. she’s so awful that it makes me a bit irrationally mad at the movie.
overall however, it’s a fantastic movie. best edge of your seat thriller about manipulation and why we cling to the wrong people. has you hooked until it flips on its head midway through and becomes something totally different and unique. Fincher plays all his cards on that last shot. underwhelming story wise, breathtaking emotion wise. it really lets the message of the film settle in.
go watch it if you haven’t already, go in blind if you can.
