It's weird that I liked The Raven slightly more on a second viewing, but The Masque of the Red Death slightly less. The characters irritated me even more this time without the suspense of what was going to happen to pull me through. I feel like there's a good point the film wants to make, but it does a bad job making it.
Enjoyed this even more the second time. Probably because I understood going in that it was a comedy. Looking for it to be funny, I picked up on things I didn't realize where gags the first time around. Price is especially good and it makes me appreciate his amazing range watching this back-to-back with something like Masque of the Red Death.
