Cinematic poetry. Days of Heaven was certainly an incredible viewing. I loved this. Such a powerful film on a visual and emotional level. One of the most beautiful films ever made. Malick can capture nature and life like no other on film. Great score by Ennio Morricone as well. I found Linda's narrated thoughts and feelings so compelling and moving. The way she delivered each line in such a quirky tone and accent struck me as very impressive. The dialog is sparse, but a lot is said with just the images alone. I wish I had the opportunity to see this film in a cinema with a huge screen.
