“I want to live through something”
I never thought I would look back on the 2000s with so much nostalgia, I probably never thought they would end when I was little. This reminded me of all the drives I would take with my mom while we blared 101.9, which had the Dave Matthews Band on a constant loop. It’s a beautiful thing when a song can literally bring back a glimpse of your life that you’ve forgotten. Lady Bird is so honest in all of its portrayals of human emotions and experiences, not only the ones you deal with when your young, but the one you will continue to have as you grow up. Teachers, parents, siblings, I loved how everyone in this had their own little moment. This is a movie that makes me feel understood, and that expresses so many things I’ve felt and still feel.
