This makes for a nice emotional sendoff for Craig, but it’s a dragged out, overbaked way to get there. I really dug the first half but was desperately bored by the end. Way way way too long. I hated, and I mean hated, Rami Malek. Ana de Armas was a breath of fresh air and I liked a lot of Fukunaga’s direction, which was more grounded and real than what is in a lot of these kinds of deals. Ultimately, the movie had enough spectacle to get it across the line, but just barely.
