In LEFFEST
Harmony Korine meets Richard Donner in Weston Razooli's enchanting and alluring "Riddle of Fire", a piece of magical pop realism, where witches, fairies and runner guns, evokes a childhood in which Hansel & Gretel coexist with PlayStation.
It's a throwback to be sure, but it's offbeat sensibility is truly unique and more than a little transfixing. I would be shocked if, following the film's commercial release in the US, Hollywood's biggest studios don't call Razooli with offers of reboots, remakes and sequels.
