“The world needs the next Iron Man.”
I’ve been really looking forward to this film ever since I saw Spider-Man: Homecoming because of how in love I was with it. I loved the character of Peter Parker so much because I was able to relate to him so much more than I ever had. That didn’t change with this film at all, I still think that Tom Holland is still the best Spider-Man and he’s still a badass in this film. I’m just slightly disappointed in this film because it could’ve been so much more.
First, I’m going to get the good out of the way because there’s a lot of that. I’m going to say this again, in my opinion Tom Holland is honestly the best Spider-Man ever, he just plays the part of Peter Parker and Spider-Man so well and I can’t imagine anyone else in the role. Now, Zendaya as Mj is just perfect, she just plays the role so perfectly and I just couldn’t help but smile every time there was a cute scene between her and Peter. Jake Gyllenhaal was great as Mysterio even if there were some aspects of his character that I was kind of meh with.
One thing I do wanna really applaud this film for us that it actually had some consequences that will surly impact the future of the MCU. I don’t wanna spoil anything, but those post credit scenes had my jaw dropped. Now the thing I really didn’t like about this film was some of the first act, and I honestly felt some of the action scenes were very dull. They just didn’t keep me as interested as I would have liked them too. Maybe it was some of the really bad bits of cgi throughout the film.
Overall I thought that Spider-Man: Far From Home was a really great MCU and Spider-Man film and I can’t wait to see the next installment. Also, sorry if this review is messy, I’m kind of in a rush because I have work in 10 minutes but I wanted to write this.
