“In Amsterdam, I dreamt I saw my mother again. The same beautiful pale blue eyes.”
Meh. What was I honestly expecting from a movie that was basically trashed by critics? The editing in this film is just horrible, it jumps from one timeline to another, but in a very weird and stupid way. It just made me not care for any of the characters at all if I’m being honest. I’m just so mad because this was one of my most anticipated films of the year and it just did nothing for me. It just seemed like they were trying way too hard with this film and ultimately failed. I’m sad to say it, but this film is horrible and I don’t recommend for anyone to waste their time on this. The only good thing I could say about this movie is that Oakes Fegley who plays young Theo did a wonderful job.
