Mikael Brønmo Hansen’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really can't stop watching this movie. It doesn't really bother me though. Like even just hearing a single note from literally any part of the soundtrack, makes me go: "I want to watch Your name again". It's just so amazing. I love it to bits. And it is without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite movie of all time.
Everything is just so perfect. And even after 11 viewings, I still notice little details that add to the story. That might just be me not being very observant, but that's besides the point. Now you can of course sit and poke holes in the story. But that you can do with every movie. No movie is perfect. That does contradict what I juat said, but for me, Your name is perfect.
One thing you just can't poke holes in, is the animation. If you've ever seen this movie, or a clip or even just a picture, you know how stunning this movie is visually. Because there's just nothing I can say to do this movies animation justice.
So yeah, as I've said so many times before. This movie is a masterpiece. Just do yourself a favor and watch it already if you still haven't.
