I think this might sit better with me upon rewatch but overall I enjoyed it a lot. I really got into it once it started having fun with the premise and upping the ante in terms of ideas and worldbuilding. I'm still not the biggest fan of how Peele incorporates comedy into these films, in this it comes off as a distraction that deflates my investment in certain characters. I also think with this film he goes for tension over suspense, which isn't inherently a bad thing but it to me it doesn't feel as satisfying. Some incredible sequences though that really had me engaged and effectively earns moments throughout. But upon first viewing it didn't quite stick the landing as strong as I would've liked.
