A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

    ★★★½

Fascinating but strange silent claymation movie by our wacky friends over at Wallace and Gromit; about an intrepid ET who drops in on our good old buddy, Shaun the Sheep...And pretty soon they become besties...And pretty soon they're defending Earth against an alien invasion...

(And when I say "silent movie"; I simply mean no dialogue...)

Driving places, holding jobs, buying and selling... Just…

So Apple TV resurrects the Peanuts franchise with this cute, likeable origin story for Franklin; one of the more neglected members of the Peanuts gang.

(Franklin's famous for being the first African American Peanuts character; created by Charles Schulz in 1968. And it's telling that they're releasing this episode during Black History Month...)

In this chapter, we learn how Franklin's family, the Armstrongs, a military family, move to suburban Minneapolis when Franklin is about ten; as a result of Franklin's…
