To each their own but it’s weird to me that people were doing backflips while jizzing their pants for the truly awful Infinity War & Endgame but were lukewarm on this. Less groany one-liners, better villain, actual chemistry between the leads, same forgettable action sequences/CGI but at least the added concept of illusions kept me interested.
Also strangely in a comic book film that suspends reality this much, a very bloated Jon Favreau hooking up with Marisa Tomei is the most unrealistic thing in the film. I guess that’s their thank you for Ironman 1 & 2?
