I can not believe that I used to have this at 4.5 stars. This is absolutely my favorite David Lynch film. So unrestrained, so vulgar, so entertaining, and so fucking brilliant! Wild at Heart moves from scene to scene at a breakneck pace and is all equal parts funny, scary, and flat out fucking awesome. Cinematic in ways that so few films are. One of those movies that you watch and sit back and realize that truly anything could happen out of nowhere.
