Sometimes felt like this movie was way out of my depth. Every time I came close to grasping it, the film takes another wild turn that I didn’t saw coming, all the way to the end.
Once I got it tho, the whole movie falls into place. Every absurdity, every surrealism, every cracks that the movie shows as you pry deeper and deeper into what is essentially...a look into what could’ve been with our memories.
Easily the most fascinating movie I’ve watched this year. Oftentime infuriating and deeply unpleasant but never not special, just Kaufman again at the best of his craft.
Im thinking of ending things
Finally got to this and just appreciate the debut and Happier Than Ever so much more now. The title is so apt since that’s basically what that lifestyle is. I honestly cannot even fathom being thrust into stardom at 16 like that. It’s incredible she ended up ok cuz that shit would’ve fucked me up.
Billie clearly did not have a good time with her first album, before and after it released. I remember feeling so bad for her that…
Literally the perfect movie. There’s nothing more to say. Every aspect in this is art perfected, working together in harmony to create the most exhilarating piece of work.
This is in fact, the best movie of 2019. The hype was absolutely real.
CANNOT wait for this to hit digital or blu-ray because lord knows it’ll never be distributed to my country and I NEED to support this.
