    This is how you do a made-for-TV movie.

    Both familiar and innovative, it isn't afraid to repeat certain formulas while evolving as well. Sure, this movies deal with almost the exact same themes as the show, Mordecai and Rigby's dysfunctional friendship. It succeeds in spicing things up, unlike the Steven Universe movie, which is purely eighty minutes of highlights from past episodes, this does it's own thing, which is what Regular Show is all about.
