I am the milkman and I like milk
A perfect sequel to a perfect movie. Not only do we still get some great action sequences but we also get to learn more about the bride and her past. This film was also pretty unpredictable and there was a particular event that surprised me to say the least but I'm not gonna spoil that. I can say without a doubt that kill bill vol. 2 is every bit as fantastic as it's predecessor
First things I have to say just how much ass this movie kicks. To this day the bride vs krazy 88 remains my favourite action sequence in any movie. The amount of blood spilled from each is so comical and satisfying in a way only Tarantino could pull of. Accompanied by some incredible camera work and editing and you have the perfect action film. That isn't to say the only good thing about this movie is the action. The storytelling is superb and Uma thurman really nails her role as the bride. In short this movie is awesome
The first time seeing this film I must admit I wasn't a big fan. I'm not sure why I thought that way at the time because during my second viewing I really enjoyed it loved it even. The conversations in pf are not only funny but also feel like something two real life people would discuss. The stylised and exaggerated violence is always a pleasure to see in a Tarantino picture. My only complaint would be how long butch's section goes for since it was my least favourite of the three stories. I should also add that this movie awakened my foot fetish lol
My favorite animated film of all time. I don't even know where to begin. Watching the innocent and beautiful protagonist mima kirigoe slowly lose her identity and grasp of reality as the film progresses is heartbreaking and uncomfortable but you can never look away. The film can get pretty confusing during the last 30 minutes but in a good way. Along with some good animation and some of the best cinematography I've seen in an animated film Perfect blue is a most watch for any anime fan.
