Ian Mills’s review published on Letterboxd:
A premise that has been done before, but never quite as interesting and strikingly animated as this. The story flows surprisingly well - transitioning between characters while furthering the plot, and is able to present twists that actually give depth to the unfolding narrative. The rock tunes didn't do it for me and are a bit much, which I suspect is meant to target a teenage audience. Even so, it's an insightful coming of age tale that is probably more about the human psyche than teen romance.
