Aladdin ★★★★½

Still one of Disney's best original films, Aladdin is a true delight that lives up to the imagination and the sheer sense of wonder that replicates the joy of a first time viewing. The musical numbers are on fire (A Whole New World is a highlight) and Robin Williams' performance is legendary, with so many unforgettable moments that really help this film stand out from the rest. It has charm, spark and enough charisma to go around in its cast, selling the audience on its premise.

The world that Aladdin creates is rich and vivid and its animation is drawn really well. It's very hard to even imagine a live action movie coming anywhere close to this masterpiece, and the film - despite being released in 1992, still holds up and has aged even better than most animated films that have come out in the last few years. It's an all-timer for a reason and I probably don't need to sell you on this one.
