I can't believe it's taken me this long to see this movie. This is a great horror classic. It wasn't quite as scary or shocking as I'd always imagined it would be but it's still frightening enough. The special effects in the movie are old now, but still, they are well-made and impressive. The acting as always in horror movies is on the downside but you can see a young Johnny Depp starting out so there is another plus. And i mean Freddy Krueger is one of the most scariest villains to lurk around on the big screen. He brings so much energy into the film. The only thing I didn't like is the ending, I think that it was too nasty.
