"KIKI, LOOK IT'S ME!"
I've always found that my favourite Studio Ghibli films are the ones that feel like they go on forever. Kiki's Delivery Service feels less like a movie and more like a gentle summer vacation. Thanks to the patient pacing and the loveable cast of characters, I feel like I visited this town, met all these people and became friends with them. Seeing this in a packed theatre was a delight.
Also, if you're seeing the theatrical Ghibli Fest screening of this, be sure to get to the theatre early! There's an adorable little short film attached to the beginning called "Le dernier jour d’automne". It's incredibly pure and you won't wanna miss it.
