"I mean, its-its every man's worst nightmare getting accused like that!"
"Mmm. And can you guess what every woman's worst nightmare is?"
A cotton candy palate really highlights the psychosis of it all, am I right, fellas? Tying together the nightmare of rape with a femme fatale fantasy is somewhat selling short the euphoria of it all. Every piece falls together; The chemistry is real and Carey Mulligan is the cherry on top.
In complete opposition and congruency to Margret Atwood's The Handmaids Tale, Promising Young Woman gives women agency over their own revenge, finished off with bubblegum, cute clothes, and barbiturates. This is what chick flicks are about!
