Watching this in 3D at the cinema was utterly pointless and was so bad when dark scenes were on the screen. However, I won’t let this affect my rating/opinion of the movie.
The movie is amazing for the first shark film and a 70s movie. I thought the shark scenes were so fantastic and the tension was insane. The score was phenomenal which is to be expected with John Williams.
But that’s all I can really say about this film, for the most part I was quite bored. I wasn’t a fan the characters and every non shark scene (which was a lot for a shark movie) just was so unengaging and just frustrated there wasn’t more.
I do see why people love this film but unfortunately for me, it’s just above average.
